2.1 Embrace Restoration Limited, trading as We Are Repairs, provides an online directory that allows users to browse and discover repair businesses and services based in the UK. We do not directly provide the services listed in the directory and are not responsible for the conduct or content of third-party listings. Our registered office is at 11, High Street, Ruddington, Nottinghamshire NG11 6HH. Our registered number is 16008373.

2.2 For the purposes of these terms, “We Are Repairs”, “we”, “us” or “our” means Embrace Restoration Limited, trading as “We Are Repairs”. The words “you”, “your” or “user” means you, as a user of the platform, whether you are a customer or a repair business. The word “repairer” means any repair business that uses our platform.

2.3 We Are Repairs acts as an intermediary to match customers to Repairers to fix their broken homeware items. We Are Repairs’s responsibility in offering the website is strictly limited to its role as operator, and it is not responsible for the quality, standard, delivery or any other elements of workmanship offered by any Repairer, or any engagement entered into between a customer and a repairer according to the use of the platform.

  1. Permitted Use

3.1 The website is intended for use within the United Kingdom by users over the age of 18 years old.

3.2 You may use our website for lawful purposes only. You agree not to:

Use the site in any way that breaches any applicable law or regulation

Use the site for any fraudulent or harmful activity

Provide any kind of customer lists or commercial information service as a source of material or contact data for any kind of marketing activity.

Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site or its systems:

in a way that affects how it is run;

in a way that imposes an unreasonable burden on the website’s technical systems or

using any automated means to monitor or copy the website or its content, or to interfere with or attempt to interfere with how the website works.

  1. Directory Content Disclaimer

4.1.1 We aim to ensure the information in our directory is accurate and up to date. However, we do not guarantee the completeness, reliability, or accuracy of listings. We are not responsible for the services, products, or conduct of any businesses listed.

4.1.2 Users are encouraged to verify any listing information independently before engaging with a business.

4.1.3 Repairers with a Free Listing have not been verified by We Are Repairs.

4.1.4 Repairers with a Featured or Premium Listing have been through a 10-point verification check before their personalised profile is listed on the site. The Verification process is published on the website and we recommend you read that document. We conduct monitoring of these checks on a yearly basis and also conduct random checks throughout the repairer’s membership but we cannot guarantee that the repairer retains memberships and insurances during the periods between our Verification and monitoring checks.

4.2 Selecting a Repairer to fix your homeware:

4.2.1 Customers are solely responsible for evaluating the suitability of repairers for the services they offer to provide and for choosing a repairer.

4.2.2  Any engagement between a customer and a repairer is solely between the customer and the repairer. We Are Repairs are not party to, liable for or involved in agreements between customers and repairers. We recommend having a clear agreement in writing that sets out the scope of work, timelines and the agreed costs before work begins.

4.2.3 In the event that a dispute arises between a customer and a repairer, you agree to irrevocably release We Are Repairs from any and all losses, damages, claims or demands of any nature arising directly, indirectly, or in any way out of matters related to such a dispute, other than concerning a breach of these Terms by us.

4.3 Featured and Premium Repairers profile pages feature customer reviews from Google. We are not responsible for the content or verified status of these reviews.

  1. Intellectual Property

5.1 All content on this website, including text, design, logos, and layout, is the property of Embrace Restoration Limited, trading as We Are Repairs, and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

You may:

View and use the site for personal and (if you are a customer) non-commercial purposes only

You may not:

Reproduce, modify, or distribute site content without our written permission

5.2 The website also contains logos, photographs, service marks and trademarks owned by repair businesses and other third parties. Nothing within these terms grants you a licence to utilise these properties without written permission from the respective owners.

6.1 To the fullest extent permitted by law:

We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the website or directory listings.

In such cases, our ability to fulfil our obligations under these Terms may be delayed or temporarily suspended for the duration of the event. During this time, we will not be held liable for any delays or failure to perform resulting from these unforeseen circumstances. However, we will make every effort to resolve the situation and take reasonable steps to minimize any impact on our ability to meet our obligations.
