Welcome to Lume Lighting. If you’re looking for beautifully handmade lampshades, whether that’s breathing new life into one you already own or having something made from scratch, you’ve come to the right place!

From my studio in Hove, East Sussex, I recover and make lampshades for homes across the country. Do you have a lampshade that’s seen better days, faded, torn or just not quite you anymore? Rather than replacing it, I can recover it using the same frame, giving it a whole new life.

Using traditional lampshade-making techniques, I recover and craft shades that are made to last, not to be thrown away when they start to look tired.

From start to finish, I’ll work with you to get the fabric, fit, and finish right. Offering a national postal service, I can recover shades for customers wherever they are in the country, alongside local bespoke and made-to-order pieces from my Hove studio.
