Like many people, I have a passion for vintage toys and technology. I have always collected toys and collectables and those that know me would say that I am a huge fan of Star Wars, Model Railway and 1980s technology. Growing up, I had many toys and devices which fuelled my various hobbies and I have a fond recollection of them all.

It occurred to me to consider what had happened to many of these toys, were they simply thrown away, how many were sitting in people’s lofts or garages, collecting dust and waiting to be discovered or could there even come a time when there would be few examples of the toys from my childhood available or people capable of repairing them.

I decided to start a small home business which sells toys online, but also aims to recover and restore vintage toys from yesteryear. As a result, I have had the pleasure of restoring a number of toys and have learnt numerous skills along the way.

Often when I recover a toy it is not working, in need of a service, covered in dirt and dust and has missing parts. Our aim is to restore these toys to their formal glory. We do not make a profit from any 3D printed parts or sell replica parts individually, just the initial cost of the model, our time and skills to restore it and the materials or original parts needed to offer fully functioning vintage toys or display pieces at a fair price.
