We’re Katie and Ian and here at Makers & Menders we are pleased to offer a teddy repair service for modern plush cuddlies who may be in need of some tender loving care – Jellycat toys are a speciality but we can fix any brand. We also have experience with mending vintage and antique bears. We believe that care for well-loved companions is an act of love, not just restoration. Each repair is done by hand, with patience, presence, and quiet respect. These companions matter and so do their stories.

We also offer a Pelham Puppet restringing and repair service to help bring these vintage British made puppets back to life again. We can also fix other brands of puppet but sourcing replacement parts may be more difficult.

Prices will vary according to the complexity of each job so please get in touch with us to find out more. For reference, our standard hourly rate is £35/hr.
